Pondicherry Centre for Biological Sciences is an Indian based research organization originated in the year 2011. Our main aim is to promote research based activities in the field of molecular infection and immunology. We are fore-runners to establish such research oriented centers in Pondicherry.
The main objective behind the establishment of this research lab is to analyze the infection and immunological rates among the pondicherians and aware the young life sciences students about the importance of infection and immunology research atmosphere and help them attain in-depth Knowledge and help to improve the betterment of mankind.
The centre being situated in most accessible part of the city is an added advantage.
The advantage of PCBS is to provide advanced research facilities and assistance for scholars and pre researchers. The diagnostic lab with biochemical, microbial and molecular facility is the first of its kind in Pondicherry. Research atmosphere with friendly faculties with advance knowledge in analytics and testing. PCBS is start up with advanced facilities like Agilent based PCR, Shimatz HPLC, Olympus fluorescent microscope, high speed cooling centrifuge etc., its a boon to biology students. The aim of this centre is develop the R&D infrastructure in Pondicherry for disease diagnosis and therapeutics through influence of biotechnology.
Currently, the centre is to provide projects, trainings and workshops to pre researchers, scholars, school and college teachers and lecturers respectively.
